Our session will be
-
Personalized
No two clients are the same, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. In our first session, we’ll explore what has brought you to therapy, and over time we’ll work together to support your growth, helping you move toward the goals and changes.
-
Targeted
Over the course of our sessions, we’ll regularly revisit your therapeutic goals to ensure our work stays focused on what matters most to you.
-
Integrative
I work with an integrative approach, drawing on different therapeutic models such as person-centred, psychodynamic, and CBT. This flexibility allows me to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, supporting personal growth, resilience, and lasting change.

Do You Know Your Attachment Style?
Attachment refers to the way we connect with others and feel safe in relationships. The patterns we developed early in life often continue to influence how we relate as adults—shaping how close we allow ourselves to be, how we handle conflict, or how we respond when we feel hurt.
There are different attachment styles: some people feel secure and comfortable with closeness, others may worry about being abandoned (anxious), some prefer distance and independence (avoidant), while others may feel both a pull for closeness and fear of it at the same time (disorganized).
In therapy, exploring attachment can bring clarity to these patterns and create space for healing. Together, we can work towards building healthier, more secure ways of relating—both with yourself and with others.
FAQs
Who do you work with?
I work with adults (18+) for individual psychotherapy and counselling in Dublin and online across Ireland. Common concerns include anxiety, stress & burnout, low mood/depression, trauma and adverse experiences, self-esteem, grief & loss, relationship and family difficulties, life transitions, and personal growth.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes. I offer both online therapy (video sessions) and telephone therapy for clients across Ireland. These flexible options are ideal if you travel, live outside Dublin, or prefer meeting from home. For online sessions, you’ll need a private space, a stable internet connection, and a device with camera and microphone. For telephone therapy, all you need is a quiet, private environment and your phone.
How often will we meet and for how long?
Sessions are typically weekly and last 50 minutes. Some clients prefer a short‑term focus (6–12 sessions), others choose open‑ended therapy. We’ll review progress regularly and agree what suits you best.
What issues are suitable for therapy?
Therapy can help with many concerns, including anxiety, panic and persistent worry, low mood or depression and lack of motivation, stress and burnout from work or study pressures, and trauma such as PTSD, C-PTSD or difficult childhood experiences. I also provide LGBTQ+ affirming counselling in a safe and supportive environment, helping clients explore identity, relationships, and self-acceptance. Therapy can further support you through relationship challenges, break-ups and family dynamics, grief and bereavement, identity, self-esteem and confidence issues, and life transitions such as relocation, parenthood, menopause or retirement. If you’re unsure whether therapy is right for you, we can explore this together in a brief introductory call.
What therapeutic approaches do you use?
My work draws on several evidence-based methods, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) techniques to help with patterns of thoughts and behaviours, person-centred and psychodynamic approaches for deeper understanding, mindfulness for present-moment awareness, and trauma-sensitive ways of working. I use a tailored approach because every person’s situation and needs are different.
